| SUMMER 2009
As summer's coming to a close, I must say this has been one of my better summers even though i spent the first half in summer school. It was a drag but the courses i took were very interesting and i must say i learned a lot about childhood disorders and how squirrels or other animals have sex or defend themselves against predators in psychobiology. LOL, anyways, I spent the other half of my summer traveling! I went to irvine like i usually do to visit the boyfriend, santa barbara for the first time, back to irvine spontaneously for a week, and last but not least, VEGAS!!! Vegas was the bomb!!!! Even though i didnt drink that much or go clubbing at all, it was a very good first experience! Im glad i got to experience it sober so next time i can test out the club scene. The worst part of it all...i spent WAAAAY too much money...esp @ juicy outlet -__- BUT i promised myself i would earn it all back fall quarter! RECORD OF THE MONTH: I havent had coffee for at least 15 days now! That's all gonna change when school starts though...=/

| Where Did the Time Go?
So I've officially given up on studying for my last final and that's why im writing in here...it'll be the end of my 3rd year of college in less than 4 hours. HOLY SMOKES!! I'll be a seniorrrr! Sigh, it seems so exciting but scary at the same time. What am I going to DO!!!! Well..i've been looking into a few graduate programs for my masters and teaching credential but then again, I might to take a year off to study for CSET & CBEST...even though people say it's not as hard as it seems. You just need to pass to be able to get into a grad program but yeah..I havent really worked everything out yet. I need to go see an advisor soooooooon! Then again...I still wanna do the teach english for a year program in Korea...but then...I'm secretly scared of going on such a big adventure on my own...OH THE CHOICES! Why Korea? I dont know either..my little obsession stil hasnt gone away yet..but even if it's not Korea, I want to go to Asia for sure since I've never been there! I need to do some soul-searching this summer...along with summer school! YAY! ..not really.

| Do you ever read the quotes on the starbuck's coffee cups? Well, it's a thing I have to do before I drink one. I came across this one and felt drawn to it:
The Way I See It #26 "Failure's hard, but success is far more dangerous. If you're successful at the wrong thing, the mix of praise and money and opportunity can lock you in forever." - Po Bronson

| FALL is here!
So from my last entry, the rest of my summer was amazing!! after work ended, I had a mini celebration with my psi chi family in davis and then had bday dinner with my girls and had a nice family dinner on my real birthday. After that, vacation time!! Shirley and I flew to San Diego for a few days and stayed with her twin Julley. We got to meet SD Psi Chi's and that was a very interesting experience! Nonetheless, they were really friendly and welcoming. I think we changed their ideas and stereotypes of lil sis! haha, we went clubbing and to the beach. OMG, i feel like everything was so much better in san diego! the beaches were nice and sunny (cleaner too) and the club we went to had 3 rooms! I was very proud of myself especially since i went shoulder deep into the ocean and played with waves when i cant swim for shit! The ocean is a scary place...me and my pledge sister erica almost lost our tops...but good thing we didnt!! after we hit the beach and ate dinner with sd psi chi bros, we headed up to irvine!! it was so nice to see wayland!!!!!!! i missed him so much since he was in irvine all summer for summer school and i was stuck in davis for camp. Anyways, we went to magic mountain and rode the ferris wheel in spectrum. it was amazing!!!! I spent the rest of august in irvine and i must admit, spending all that quality time with him was the best. This has been one of my best summers in a long time!!
September: Had to move out of my old apartment and into my new one!! whoot whoot, i love my new apartment! it's so cozy and has this very welcoming feeling to it. I still havent finished decorating yet but it's cause i forgot to bring the pictures up from home and im too lazy to go to costco to print out some more. I spent most of my time at home and relaxed before school started. So, during the first weekend of when school started, susan and i drove from davis to irvine to surprise our lovely agnes for her 20th birthday! i must say, we're pretty awesome to have pulled it off and have her fooled!! i got to drive most of the way back and i must say, driving on an empty road at night is so much fun! i felt like i owned the road and plus i was going 80+ the whole time so it was pretty exciting. We got back 4am monday morning when susan had class at 8am and class for me at 9am. I thought it was pretty amazing and i dont care how everyone called us crazy, it was amazing! Class has been okay so far, i dont even need a notebook this quarter since all of them have lecture slides! whoot whoot, and as of today, im enrolled for 20 units. kinda crazy i know but i feel like i can do it.
October: The month has just started and blah, im already really behind in reading already. It's quite sad but it's my own fault cause i've been procrastinating and not in school mode! Now that im determined to get into that summer abroad program in korea, i must do well this year!!!!!!! This month is filled with birthdays of all my loves so im working a whole lot so i can get them memorable bday gifts!!! Im not gonna be able to go home at all this month cause of work but hey, at least it's money right? Davis needs to upgrade on the min. wage!!!! on the plus side, i opened a bank of america account!! yay, i chose to get the precious moments debit card.. hehe, im so excited for it to come in the mail now so i can start using it. i still havent applied for a credit card yet...i just think im not responsible for one yet since im always spending money left and right..which is bad..really bad....Anyways, my goal for the next 6 months, starting 10/10 is to cut junk food from my life! Specifically candy, chips, COFFEE for sure...and any unnecessary food purchases cause i always spend so much money on it!! Think i can do it? yeah..im not so sure myself but i guess we'll see!!

| LAST WEEK OF CAMP
Ahh, I can't believe 8 weeks has past by so fast. We're finally entering the last week of camp!! A part of me is so happy to leave because the kids drive me crazy but the other part of me is so sad because I'm so attached to them now. It's really fun to see how much the kids have attached to you too because if you go in a different classroom and tell someone to do something, they'll reply with "That's not how Ms. or Mr. so and so does it!" AHH, they're so used to you now and it's great but also annoying at the same time. I got to go on a couple of field trips with them and I feel like they're more well behaved because there's always that risk of getting lost. My kids call me Ms. Teezy ( TZ..get it?!! ) and one time, one boy said "Ms. Teezy where are you?? I thought I almost lost you!" *runs over and holds my hand* GAHH, it's moments like these where I think my job is worthwhile. As much as I'll miss working at the elementary school, I'm even more excited to go home for a few days and celebrate my birthday with my girls before I start my So-cal adventure. I'm going to San Diego for about 2 days, then hitting up LA to visit my pledge sister and going to magic mountain before I settle in Irvine for approx. 2 weeks?! I'm super duper happy I get to spend time with Wayland as I don't get to see him much.
So..what else have I been doing besides working? CLEANING. I have to get ready to move out of my current apt and into my new one by the end of the month. MAN, i never knew moving was so freaken hard! I officially hate moving and I havent even really started yet. I've been clearing a lot of stuff and bringing it home to help make the transition easier. Plus, I never knew I had so much stuff! Moving to the opposite side of town's gonna be a new experience for me since I'm already so used to this side of town but I guess North Davis is more convenient cause there's NOAH'S bagels! I think it'll be a nice change and it'll be in an environment where I can finally breathe with no worries :)
